Improvisational Design…
Donna designs much of her jewelry in a spontaneous, improvisational
manner. Using a variety of beads and elements to express a theme,
she begins a piece at one end and beads to the other end adding
and removing elements until the design satisfies. Her love of color,
shape, texture and contrast is expressed in one-of-a-kind compositions
that reflect her joyous, creative approach to design.
Harmonious Asymmetry…
Donna loves to design jewelry that is asymmetrical, yet harmonious
(just like the human face!). The work can be a complex combination
of elements or a simple combination of 2 or 3 different types of
beads.
Organic Elements…
Inspired by nature’s great power, diversity, and beauty,
Donna has assembled a jewelry collection composed with natural
elements such as stone, lava, fossils, tektite, shell, horn,
amber, jet, wood, and more.
Chokers for women and men…
Chokers of waxed linen strung with a unique pendant or a special
grouping of beads are simple, yet striking.
Lucite and Sterling…
The luscious colors of vintage Lucite beads are combined with
hand-forged sterling in jewelry that is lightweight, yet substantial.
Hand-Forged Silver Cuffs...
Wire-wrapped and hand-forged sterling cuffs are designed to
showcase special beads on a bracelet that is singular and beautiful.
Beaded Bracelets...
Exciting combinations of beads and “treasure”, strung
on flexible strands create playful drama and sophisticated whimsy.
Earrings…
Splashy color, sparkling light, and dancing movement are the qualities
that imbue these pieces.
